We would like to show off the newest model, the brand-new Horn Gemini XL from the sewing & quilting range of Horn furniture which is available to view and try out in our industrial head office. (Unit 1 Sabre Court, Valentine Close, Gillingham Business Park, Kent, ME80RW). This is truly a great sewing table with huge storage capacity. My favourite part is the slide out storage drawer which is perfect size for ribbons, threads, pins & all kinds of haberdashery. The Maxi-lifter opening type designed by Horn which works on virtually all domestic sewing machines on the market old or new. The 3 step push down release air lift mechanism which means a quick push down moves your machine from storage to flatbed to free arm. The cabinet arrives fully assembled by Horn themselves so all you need to do is chose which room you would like it in. Seeing this cabinet completely opened up looks great with so much room for your sewing and in particular large quilts. The work area at the back of the machine which prevents the needle drag that can happen with large projects. Lifts up easily when needed and down when not (so it doesn’t have to be open all the time).

The Cub Plus which is one of my favourite cabinets, it creates the best back drop for all our photos we put on Facebook and Instagram. This super compact cabinet is perfect for any home studio and what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in innovative storage solutions. Much like its bigger brother (the GEMINI XL) the CUB comes with the same 3 step push down release air-lift mechanism for handy storage of your machine and a shocking size reduction when not in use (as you can see in the photos below)!

Don’t forget you can add more storage to this cabinet with the great Rolla Storage available in all the latest colour ways. It will sit happily either side of your existing Horn cabinet and lots of our customers add it to the Cub Plus.  

Finish off with the latest Hobby Chair ‘Our Tall’ Physiotherapist endorsed and approved. One of our customers who purchased the chair in the charcoal fabric cover has told us “My new chair is so comfortable I even sit on it when watching television.”

It features a 3 lever mechanism, this gives precise adjustment of your seating position by allowing you not only to change the height positions… just like a luxury car seat. The same amazing features as the standard Hobby Chair but the ‘Our Tall’ model as the far greater height of 68cm off the ground. The Horn Hobby chair also offers a sculptured, deep, luxuriously padded seat and back with approved contoured lumbar support to fit perfectly into your body. It can be quickly raised or lowered to your desired position by means of a gas elevator and is fitted with a smaller castor base to allow you to fit easily into your sewing cabinet. To finish off the perfect chair you have three hard wearing fabrics to choose from and now our special ‘Limited Edition’ fun sewing canvas fabric as well!
